Intoxicated by adrenaline, my protagonist irrationally runs straight into the ocean. As the water resists against his frantic legs, he stumbles and falls to the shore. Quickly turning onto his back, his eyes dart around attempting to locate the creature. The ocean has gone completely still and the surrounding area is soundless. His face is illuminated by the approaching lights. In the final scene, the camera closes in on one of his eyes as it turns black signifying the creature overtaking his mind and body.
No where left to run.

In this final concept, I wanted this to be a clash of the 2nd and 3rd looks. A beanie, which is a more fitted piece of headwear, represents the domination of his mind. Once again, he wears 2 top layers; a heavy-weight jersey polo calling back to the 2nd look, and a jacket calling back to the 3rd. The stylistic seaming details now spread across his jacket and pants resembling the creatures spreading dominion over his body
Initial concept.
My intention for this project was to give you insight into my creative process. It feels unusual to present something that is still under development. Even now, as I wrap up this presentation with title and end-title cards, I can see the aesthetic evolving even further.
I find great inspiration through storytelling. While this project is heavily based in fantasy, in the context of my career my decisions are informed by current & emerging trends, aspirational & competitive brands, and a company’s best selling products. These key points are then shaped and guided by the seasonal story being told.
